Trina Wilson

Carminita Wilson is from Theodore, AL. She is a graduate of Theodore High School, where she played volleyball for all 4 years. Her volleyball career was cut short by an injury her senior year. She is a college graduate of the University of South Alabama in 2012 where she majored in education. She received her master’s degree in 2017 from Walden. Currently, she works at Meadowlake Elementary School, where she was named Teacher of the Year in 2018. Her first year coaching club was in 2023. However, she has been around club volleyball with her daughter since 2014, who is now playing at Bishop State Community College in Mobile and is a sophomore. She has coached volleyball at Covenant Academy for the past 2 seasons in the Youth Development League and is very passionate about the game of volleyball. Mrs. Wilson is excited to join LAV for her second year, as a coach and mentor to these young women athletes
