Jennie played college volleyball at the University of Illinois where she played right side hitter for the 1994 and 1995 season.  While she was at Illinois, Jennie played in the Sweet 16 National Tournament and Illinois were ranked in the top 10 nationally.  In 1996, Jennie transferred to Ball State University where she finished her career and was named all Mid-American All-Conference both seasons.

After graduating from Ball State University, Belarmino worked in fundraising for several non-profits such as the American Heart Association and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  She also started coaching college volleyball as an assistant at Middle Tennessee State University. She has also been an assistant coach at the University of South Alabama and then a head coach at West Virginia University Institute of Technology for 2 seasons. While at WVU Tech, Jennie led the team to the most wins in the single season in school history (2011).

Belarmino became the head volleyball coach at Lake-Sumter State College in Leesburg, Florida for 3 seasons.  While at LSSC, She recruited and had a 2015 Mid-Florida Conference All-Conference player, a NJCAA Academic All-American and 8 players named to the MFC All-Academic Team and 3 players named All-State.

In 2018, Jennie was named Pensacola State College’s Head volleyball coach. She stayed on at Pensacola State through 2021 when she stepped away to focus on her own children’s sports in Spanish Fort. Jennie has been around the game of volleyball for over 30 years, and we are thrilled to have her at LAV for the 2025 Season.
