Davida Varner

Davida Varner is a native of Mobile, Alabama and played volleyball at Mary G. Montgomery from 2003-2006. She is married to her husband, James Varner, for nine years. After graduating high school she when to Troy University where she got a degree in Secondary Math Education in 2011. She has coached at Hankins Middle School from 2012-2014 and Semmes Middle School from 2015-2021. While she was at these schools she earned a Division Championship Title in 2018 and 2021, Runner-up in 2016,2017,2019 and a Championship title in 2018. She is currently in her second season as the JV head coach and Assistant Varsity coach at Mary G. Montgomery.

Davida enjoys teaching math, coaching volleyball, leading FCA and spending time with family and friends. She is excited for her first season at LAV!
