Chrissy Thompson

Chrissy is a native of Fairhope, Alabama. After graduating high school, she attended Auburn University where she got her Bachelor’s degree in Zoology. She went on to get her Master in Science from Lesley University. Chrissy is the Testing Coordinator for the Learning Place and the ACCE for Bayside Academy. She has been working there for nineteen years.

Chrissy has eleven years of coaching experience spanning from Middle School, Junior Varsity and was the Varsity Assistant at Bayside Academy.  She has coached club for Eastern Shore Volleyball Club for six years and has been working with LAV for the last six years running the scoring software for tournaments, AES. This is her second year on the Admin team as a the Season Team Director. She was an assistant coach for the fifteen’s team in 2022 and 2023.  In 2024, she was the 14 National Black assistant coach and that team qualified for Nationals in Las Vegas.  The team finish 13th.

Her daughter, Colton Thompson, senior, played for LAV for three years and is currently playing volleyball for the University of Montevallo. Chrissy can’t wait for another exciting season at LAV!
