Monique Adams Williams joins LAV after an impressive high school, collegiate, and professional playing career and coaching career. She was a McGill-Toolen Dirty Dozen graduate in 1988, was featured in Sports Illustrated as Who’s Who, and played on the USAV National Team.  After high school she went on to play at LSU, where she was a two time SEC Team player. She then had a 17 year career as a professional volleyball player in Italy, Spain, Japan, Brazil, and Greece.  After her professional career came to an end, Monique coached at Bayside Academy for 8 years as an assistant coach before taking over as the head coach at Daphne High School for four years.  She recently was the head coach at Leflore High School in Mobile.  Her club coaching experience includes club volleyball with Eastern Shore Volleyball Club.  We are thrilled to have Monique on our staff for 2025! She brings a wealth of volleyball knowledge!
